2 ANK31 module fault judgment
KBA's EAE SKS network uses an active hub, so it has the following characteristics: receive data from one port and distribute and monitor the data through all ports; check the data before forwarding, correct the damaged packet and adjust the timing.
If the signal is weak but still readable, the active hub restores it to a stronger state before forwarding, which allows some devices with less than ideal performance to be used normally. If the signal sent by the ANK31 module or KT98 is not strong enough, the signal amplifier of the active hub can enable the device to continue normal use. In addition, the active hub can also report which devices have failed, thus providing certain diagnostic capabilities.
Because the hub of the SKS network has the above characteristics, when the console shows that a certain module is yellow, the device can still be used normally. When the power is turned on, the module in a certain position often appears yellow. At this time, if the execution device in the KT98 area does not appear abnormal, then the ANK31 module may be defective. At this time, parts should be purchased and replaced. This state can be maintained for 8 to 10 months, and the ANK31 module will not be able to obtain information from the hub.
When activated, the module in a certain position is red. Check the indicator light of the hub. If the indicator light is abnormal, it indicates that there is a problem with the I / O interface at this position. Unplug the Hub wiring in the red position. The indicator light and other positions display normal, indicating that the ANK31 module at this position has been damaged.
3 Replace the ANK31 module
The ANK31 module is a special interface module for printing press network developed by German Ewet Ahrensburg (EAE) Electronics Co., Ltd., with on-site reading and writing program functions. The operation program is stored in the master server of KBA EAE printing operating system. The driver of ANK31 module can be automatically installed by clicking the operation interface. The steps are as follows:
1) Power off the ANK31 module management area, replace with a new ANK31 module, and restore power.
2) Install the driver. The ANK31 module has two coding ports, as shown in Fig. 2, the "3" on the right is the address code of the ANK31 module, and the "4" on the left is the information input code.
The first step is to set the new ANK31 module address according to the original address code at the address code on the right.
In the second step, at the information code on the left, put the switch 1 in the on position, and set the new ANK31 module information code according to the original information input code. At this time, the Boot light on the ANK31 module starts flashing.
The third step is to enter the program on the corresponding ANK31 module program on the Master Server server interface until the program is written and the Boot light stops flashing.
The fourth step is to put switch 1 in the off position, and then press Reset on the ANK31 module to activate the newly installed ANK31 module.
The fifth step is to activate the I / O position module on the console.
