Problems are apt to occur when printing plastic products. Usually the following methods are used to solve:

(1)Pre-treating (printing or coating) the substrate surface before printing to increase the adhesion of the ink film;

(2) Add a small amount of special thinner to the ink to improve the "occlusal" force of the ink film on the substrate.

In addition, some plastic substrates contain a certain amount of plasticizers. In applications, if the ink pigments are not properly selected, color shifts may occur in the printed products, causing product quality problems.

Generally after UV ink is printed on the surface of plastic bottles and cans for detergents, cleaning agents, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals, in order to improve the abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and decorative effects of the ink film, a layer of light is often applied. Oil, cover it.

Now, some high-speed production lines for commercial labels, labels, etc., use screen printing UV ink to complete the printing on web printing machines. The images, text, lines or color blocks are often accompanied by 80 lines/inch (1 inch = 2.54 cm) screens. This product is of good quality and high in production efficiency.

At present, UV inks are widely used on printed circuit boards. Among them, there are UV inks for circuit corrosion; UV plating inks that protect the non-plated areas; In case of welding, the non-welded parts are prevented from being overlapped and short-circuited, and UV resistance for moisture and scratches is prevented. Weld ink; there are UV marking inks used to indicate product nameplates, component names and specifications. Currently, UV inks and thermal curing inks are used in the production of printed circuit boards at the same time, but their respective focuses are different. The former is known on civilian printed circuit boards, and the latter is mostly used for military or industrial printed circuit boards.
