Quality control and typical characteristics: culture at 36 ± 1 ℃ for 18-24h, choose a plate with 30-150 colonies, and count the typical coliform colonies appearing on the plate. Typical colonies are pink, purple or red, with or without bile salt precipitation ring around the colonies
