American invented biodegradable packaging material for fast food

A U.S. company recently invented a biodegradable packaging material for fast food and obtained a patent.

According to reports, the material consists of water, starch products, release agents (amides, etc.), tackifiers (swelling starch, gum arabic, etc.), fibrous substances (fiber-rich fresh vegetables, carbon fiber, plastics), Non-fibrous fillers (calcium carbonate, carbon, titanium dioxide, soy protein powder, wheat gluten, egg protein powder, etc.), pigments, preservatives. It consists of nine components such as antioxidants. The bottom of the container is composed of a double layer of starch-based baking, and the finished product has a moisture content of 6% to 22%. The material can be used for various types of fast food packaging containers such as cups, plates and the like, and has strong mechanical properties, flexibility and durability.
