DuPont has developed a series of biodegradable ethylene copolymer packaging materials

DuPont Packaging Materials recently developed a series of new ethylene copolymers for biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA) packaging materials to increase their toughness and reduce brittleness. This product is especially suitable for the molding of rigid plastics and thermosetting PLA to improve its impact resistance, toughness and melt stability. Its use dose is 1% ~ 5%, this product has no effect on the transparency and stability of the material compared with other toughening agents. Biomax Strong 100 can't be used in food contact materials, and BiomaxStrong 120, which will be available in 3~6 months, can be used in food contact materials.
