Salt spray test chamber, presumably everyone is familiar with it. It is well known to simulate a maritime climate and is used to test the corrosion resistance of products. Then how to use the newly purchased salt spray test, what kind of work should be done during the trial period! The following is a small series to explain the preparation work of the salt spray test chamber before use.
1. Add distilled water to the bottom of the heating tank at the bottom of the salt spray test chamber to prevent the box from aging and aging during the heating process.
2. The appropriate amount of distilled water or tap water should be injected into the tank water sealing tank. It should not be too full or too little. It is better to not overflow the water and salt spray when closing the lid.
3. Fill the saturated barrel with distilled water or purified water. Before filling the water, first open the air valve and the heel valve to add the water valve. The water level should be 3/4 of the water level glass box. The water level must be closed when the water level is demarcated. Deflate the valve while closing the saturator and water valve.
4. Check whether the water pipe between the storage tank and the sprayer in the task room is firmly connected, and then inject the prepared salt solution into the storage tank.
5. Check the fogging state of the exhaust pipe at the rear of the salt spray test chamber; whether the air pipe is unobstructed, whether the exit can pass to the sewer; whether the pipeline is blocked, so as not to affect the salt spray.
6. Set up the funnel outside the box to check whether the connecting tube of the funnel and the mist collector is smooth. 7. Check the connection between the gas source and the heel counter, whether the connection between the gas source and the sprayer is firm, to avoid gas spillage or lack of gas supply.
8. Open the salt spray test chamber lid and place the sample accurately on the sample holder in the task chamber (10% distance from the inner wall). Keep the sample and sample spaced.
