Wuxi Maohua develops a new type of antioxidant

An innovative antioxidant ZM-405 from Wuxi Zhengmao Chemical Plant has been put on the market, ending the long history of China’s dependence on imports.

With the full support of research institutes and universities, Wuxi Zhengmao Chemical Factory has successfully developed the antioxidant ZM-405. This new antioxidant is non-polluting and non-toxic. It is widely used in plastic masterbatches such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, and foam plastics. It is resistant to heat and light from plastic Wires and cables, food packaging materials, and adhesives. The old performance is remarkable; the new antioxidant has special effects on the aging caused by heat, light, ozone and other synthetic glues such as natural rubber, neoprene rubber and styrene-butadiene rubber, and has a good synergistic effect with sulfur-containing antioxidants.
