Hassia Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH Launches Bottle Cup

Hassia Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH has launched a "cup", a thermoformed cup made of flat PS or multi-layer material sheets. The cups are shaped, filled and closed on the same machine. A comprehensive molded standard system decorates these interesting, consumer-like cups. This portable cup can be used for a variety of food packaging, such as yogurt, healthy drinks, spices, and soy sauce. Due to its production flexibility, this "bottle" can be manufactured in many different shapes. “Bottle Cup” is a design innovation for thermoforming, filling, and sealing packaging machines; by using different molds, inverted bottles can be produced on existing equipment. Moreover, if sterile forms are used, the shelf life can be greater than one year.
