German adhesive material products have accounted for a share of the world market

The German Adhesives Industry Federation has said that Germany's adhesive materials account for 10% of the world market and top the list of countries and regions.

According to the German Adhesive Industry Federation, adhesives and sealants have a promising market prospect due to their wide range of applications in the automotive, aerospace and transportation industries.

In Germany, there are about 116 companies producing adhesive materials, among which are mostly small and medium enterprises. Their turnover is 2.6 billion euros.

The largest adhesive material manufacturer in Germany is the Henkel company based in Düsseldorf, which produces adhesive materials such as Pritt, Pattex and Ponal.

At present, the German adhesive material industry's business abroad is better than domestic ones. This is mainly due to the decline in demand for some important consumer sectors in Germany, such as furniture manufacturing.

The German Adhesive Materials Manufacturing Industry Federation believes that the packaging industry, automotive industry, and electronics industry will bring tremendous growth momentum to the adhesive material industry.
